MeGUI PS3/Xbox 360 H.264 Profiles

The recent version of MeGUI includes two H.264 profiles specifically designed for PS3 and Xbox 360 compatibility. Previously, in a guide written by Digital Digest, the Xbox 360 compatibile profiles were based on the "CE-Baseline", "CE-Mainprofile" and "CE-Highprofile" profiles (with P4x4 and B-Pyramid disabled). This page will examine these profiles and list their differences, so you can better compare which profile to use.

The table below compares the various profiles that can be used to make PS3 and Xbox 360 compatible H.264 video files, the "CE" based profiles and the newly available "PD" profiles. The "odd" settings are highlighted.
